Family Interlude

My son’s family is visiting with us from out of town so along with my daughter’s children (they live nearby) I’ve been on Pops duty all week. I thought about trying to write my regular essay but then thought better of it because homelife is more pressing. The picture is of me and my son’s three kids on a hike a couple of days ago.

My regular routine will resume next week. In the meantime, thanks for being a part of this little community that’s formed around my writing. The third anniversary of my Substack—I call it “Soul Work”—is coming up later this month and I’ll share some of the exciting things that are happening then.
